 Albanian tenor, Ramë Lahaj, for the first time is expanding further, to bring the first Opera Festival in Kosovo. The festival will be the first in Kosovo and will be titled "Ramë Lahaj International Opera Festival", KultPlus reports.

Through a post on the social network Facebook, Lahaj also announced that he will hold a concert in the 'Skanderbeg' square in Pristina in cooperation with the Kosovo Philharmonic.

The concert will be held on August 7 this year.

Dear friends,

I am very happy to inform you that the concert Rame Lahaj & Friends will be held this summer on August 7, 2021, in Skanderbeg Square in Pristina and in close cooperation with the Kosovo Philharmonic.

What makes me even happier is the fact that for the first time this initiative is expanding further, to become the first Opera Festival in Kosovo before and after the war, called Ramë Lahaj International Opera Festival.

A long-held dream of mine - creating a bridge between great local and international artists.

The RLIOF festival will last a full 10 days (July 29 - August 7, 2021), where there will be workshops on singing techniques and operatic interpretation. The festival this year will have several concerts, which you will be notified about in the coming days.

In this year's 5-day workshop for young and career singers we will have the Italian master Vito Maria Brunetti, who has trained the great artists of world lyricism.

The most distinguished of the workshop will perform in the "New Generation" Concert, while the distinguished students of the workshop will benefit from scholarships inside and outside the country.
