Austrian media: Vuçiç faces new problems, Kosovo officially opens trial against Serbia

 

Austrian media, kosmo.at reported that the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vuçi. Is facing new problems, as Kosovo has officially launched a lawsuit against the Serbian state.

"The Kosovo government officially started a lawsuit against the Serbian state on Wednesday. He must be held accountable for the deliberate destruction of Kosovar monuments. On Wednesday, the government in Kosovo voted to set up a state commission to document the destruction of Kosovars' cultural heritage during the 1998 and 1999 wars. "Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic is likely to face problems with Kosovo again," writes the Austrian media, kosmo.at.

The Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Hajrulla Çeku, considers it important to establish this commission because, according to him, the process of holding Serbia accountable and / or compensating for the deliberate destruction of hundreds of monuments for moving to Kosovo.

"The members of the commission will be professionals and representatives of the government and professional institutions as well as international experts. The commission will take into account all the documents produced so far ", said Çeku, writes kosmo.at.

Ceku further stressed that this commission will be tasked with compiling a national inventory of all monuments destroyed during the 1998 and 1999 wars.

"The request for compensation was made in accordance with international standards" concluded Hajrulla Çeku.
